About the VIPA Apprentice Program

Designed for Venice High School juniors and seniors, the VIPA Apprentice Program offers paid, hands-on experience in lighting, sound, rigging, front of house, box office, and hospitality. Apprentices train alongside industry professionals, receiving one-on-one mentorship, masterclasses, and workshops.

In addition to technical skills, students gain confidence in creativity, collaboration, communication, and leadership. Many graduates have gone on to join IATSE, manage bands, return as VIPA staff, or pursue degrees in the arts.
